Fernando Caballero
Born in Córdoba on March 27th, 1970.
In 1989 he begins to study at the Conservatorio Provincial de Música "Félix T. Garzón", and also starts taking private lessons with Luis E. Garay. He has also taken lessons with E. Ocampo, and he is presently studying with Pepi Taveira in Buenos Aires.
In 1990 he joins the Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de la Provincia de Córdoba (Juvenile Symphonic Orchestra) were he is the "Kettledrum soloist". He also played many times with the "Orquesta Sinfónica de la Provincia de Córdoba" until in 1994 he becomes a member. He has been a member of the Percussion Ensemble of the Provincial Conservatory between 1990 and 1993.
Since 1993 he has participated in many groups as a drummer. Among them: "La Clave", "Out milk jazz", "Los viejos pescados", "Mercado Negro" and "Golpe de Calor"(recording with them their 2nd CD)
He joined the Dante Ascaino Trio in 1996.
