Comments: RIDE THE LIGHTNING showed a lot more "musical maturity" than Kill 'Em All, with acoustic rythms breaking into some of the heaviest riffs, and with a richer variety of styles, without the need of playing all the songs at 'Metal Militia' speed to be really heavy. This was my first MetallicA record, and it sure as hell impressed me, as it still does.
