Living in Balance

LIVING IN BALANCE fosters a creative, respectful, and caring relationship between visitors and the natural world. Through the global connections made in this exhibit, visitors will become aware of their role in the cycles of nature and be called on to take positive action in the renewal of their home planet earth.

Living in Balance will feature a global rivers monitoring station where visitors will be able to explore our River Drawers and link with different river organizations and programs the world over. Each drawer will be made by a person from around the globe that has a close connection to a river near them. This exhibit on world rivers is made possible by participants in our River box program!

Living in Balance will also have a video installation created by Cheri Gaulke from footage taken during the Cape Fear River Project.
