(Injectable solution of 21 Dexamethasone Phosphate)
Description:
Dexamethasone OVER is a sterile aqueous solution of 21 Dexamethasone
Phosphate, synthetic corticoid of anti-inflammatory and glycogenic action,
30 times superior to Hydrocortisone, 7 times to Prednisolona, 6 times to
Triamcinolona having zero mineral-corticoid action, greatly reduces side
effects.

Clinical Indications:
Bovine Cetosis, Ovine Cetosis, Anaphylactic, traumatic, infectious
shock (associated with the specific treatment). Localized or generalized
allergic or inflammatory symptoms. Neuritis, Polyneuritis, Tendinitis,
Myalgias, Bursitis, Paresis, Urticaria, Eczema.
Prevention and treatment
of stress caused by transportation. Dexamethasone contributes to the treatment
of drooping cows, udder edema associated with diuretics. Recommended for
parturition induction in cows and sheep.
For use on the following animals:
Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Pigs, Dogs and Felines.
Administration:
By intravenous, intramuscular, intrasynovial, intra-articular injection,
local infiltration. Strict observance of asepsis is necessary.

It is advisable to divide the daily dose in 2 or 3 applications.
Local, intra-articular, intrasynovial, infiltration: Dose to be determined
by professional judgement.
Parturition induction:
In Cattle, after the 265th day of gestation, parturition may be induced with a dose of 10-20 mg in one single intramuscular application.
In Sheep after 142nd day of gestation with a dose of 8-16 mg. Parturition
takes place about 48 hours later.
Presentation:
Boxes containing 12 flasks-ampoules of 10 ml net content each. (20
mg of active drug per flask).
